I just want you to know that I am SO appreciative of all the wonderful messages of love and support I received yesterday and today. The wisdom and love in the messages brings tears to my eyes (although I am surprised I have any left!) and I feel so held in love and connection.
I am in different space today (thank you, John – your comments on the shifting nature of grief are so true). I feel tired but my body continues to heal extraordinarily well from surgery. I met some breast cancer buddies for lunch, one of whom was new to me and she was surprised that I was only a week out of surgery, which felt good. Both women have metastatic breast cancer and are so full of life, humor, humanity that as I wait for the biopsy results from the surgery, I feel that if they can be on their journey with such grace, than so can I be on mine.
So to my amazing support network – thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and everyone of you, whether you respond or not, I know you are out there rooting for me.
Love Amanda
Love you. I could read a different you between the lines, so refreshing… ❤
